This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of picture card learning media in improving the numeracy literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years. This research focuses on testing the effectiveness of Picture Card Learning Media to Improve Numeracy Literacy Skills of 5-6-Year-Old Children. A quantitative experimental method was employed, using a quasi-experimental approach with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The study involved 8 children in Class A as the control group and 8 children in Class B as the experimental group. The average score of the control group was 17.38, while the experimental group scored 34.62, indicating a significant improvement in the numeracy literacy scores of the children. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation, utilizing a behavior checklist observation sheet as the primary instrument. Data collection measured the children’s numeracy literacy skills before and after using the picture card learning media. The results revealed that the overall treatment value with df = 7 and p = 0.000 < 0.05 confirmed the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Hª) and rejection of the null hypothesis (Hº). This finding demonstrates that children involved in learning activities using picture card media showed a significant improvement. Conclusion: This study concludes that picture card learning media is effective in improving the numeracy literacy skills of early childhood learners.
