In this study, the learning community is seen within the Internal Quality Assurance System or SPMI. SD Muhammadiyah Nitikan has a learning community called Kombelmunita (Komunitas Belajar SD Muhammadiyah Nitikan), which then the research is aimed at describing the implementation and strategy of Kombelmunita to improve teacher performance and analyze its contribution to the Internal Quality Assurance System or SPMI. The goal is formulated to answer three problem formulations, namely: 1) how is the implementation of the Kombelmunita program in improving teacher performance in SD Muhammadiyah Nitikan?; 2) how is the strategy of the Kombelmunita program to improve teacher performance in SD Muhammadiyah Nitikan?; and 3) how does teacher performance contribute to the internal quality assurance system at SD Muhammadiyah Nitikan? The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, namely the general meaning of several individuals who have experienced various life experiences related to phenomena or concepts. In this study, the meaning of the Kombelmunita program was carried out through several informants who experienced experiences related to Kombelmunita. The data collection technique uses semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity technique used is triangulation of sources and techniques. Thus, semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation were conducted to selected informants, namely the head of Kombelmunita, the principal, the curriculum waka, and the litbang waka. The results of the study found that Kombelmunita was implemented to improve teacher competence, which ultimately led to an improvement in teacher performance. The strategy emphasized on Kombelmunita is on strategic actions, which include: a) sharing; b) Teaching Simulation Practice; and 3) workshop, training, and technical guidance. Teacher performance contributes a lot to internal quality assurance (SPMI). The form of teacher performance contribution to the internal quality assurance system starts from input, process, to output.
