%T KONSELING DAN PENDAMPINGAN KORBAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA DI UNIT PELAKSANA TEKNIS DAERAH PERLINDUNGAN PEREMPUAN DAN ANAK  (UPTD PPA) DI KABUPATEN JEMBER  (PERSPEKTIF BIMBINGAN KONSELING ISLAM)
%X Domestic violence that has occurred in the community is a
concern for the UPTD PPA of Jember Regency to realize justice,
equality, and fulfillment of rights for women and children victims of
violence. One of them is by counseling and assisting victims of
violence. The purpose of this study is to understand how the
counseling and assistance of victims of domestic violence at the
UPTD PPA of Jember Regency in the perspective of Islamic
Counseling Guidance.
This research used a qualitative method with the type of
field study, involving 4 UPTD PPA administrators from Jember
Regency, consisting of 1 UPTD head, 1 UPTD staff and 2 assistance
teams, in addition to 1 psychologist, 1 CSO representative, 1 Polres
and 2 from the local community. In total there were 9 informants. To
collect data, three approaches were used: (1) observation to observe
the UPTD PPA of Jember Regency in handling victims of violence
against women and children, observing the visum et repertum process
at Soebandi Hospital; (2) interviews to explore overall forms of
domestic violence and the stages of counseling and assistance carried
out at the UPTD PPA of Jember Regency; (3) documentation to
complete the data by collecting some information related to the
research data. The data that has been collected is analyzed with three
steps, namely reducing data, presenting data and verifying data. The
data analysis technique in this research uses method triangulation,
namely comparing data from observations and interviews, comparing
informants' views, and comparing interview results with documents
relevant to the research.
The results showed that the forms of domestic violence
handled by the UPTD PPA of Jember Regency were physical and
psychological violence. As for the stages of counseling and assistance
carried out using a general approach. Counseling and mentoring in the
perspective of Islamic counseling guidance shows a holistic and
integrative approach. In this context, counseling not only functions as
a tool to help individuals understand themselves and the environment,
but also as a means to restore the dignity and mental health of victims.
