"Yogyakarta has a Final Processing Site (TPA) located in Bantul Regency, namely\r\nPiyungan TPA. The DIY Regional Government stated that the average volume of waste\r\nin Piyungan TPA that enters per day is more than 700 tons with a storage height of 140 m,\r\nwhile the TPA's capacity is designed to accommodate 650 of waste tons/day. Suboptimal\r\nwaste management in the TPA can cause waste piles to increase and produce leachate.\r\nLeachate is very destructive and must be processed and treated before being disposed of.\r\nEfforts that can be made to reduce pollutants in leachate include phytoremediation using\r\neceng gondok ( Eichhornia crassipes ). This study aims to determine the effect of\r\nvariations in leachate concentration on the morphology of eceng gondok ( Eichhornia\r\ncrassipes ), changes in DO, BOD, pH, temperature, and Pb parameters at each\r\nconcentration, and the most improved parameter changes. The method used is static\r\nphytoremediation, with observations of morphological changes (leaves and stems), DO,\r\nBOD, pH, temperature, and timbal (Pb). The results of the study showed that there were\r\nmorphological changes, both leaves and stems experienced chlorosis and decay because\r\nwater hyacinth is very susceptible to leachate content. In addition, all test parameters\r\nshowed values below the predetermined quality standards from Peraturan Daerah Daerah\r\nIstimewa Yogyakarta No. 7 Tahun 2016. DO, BOD, pH, and temperature parameters had\r\nlower values than the control. Showing that the presence of water hyacinth has an effect\r\non changes in test parameters. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the\r\npresence of water hyacinth in the phytoremediation process, BOD and DO levels\r\nincreased, pH and temperature decreased while Pb (timbal) levels did not change."^^ .
