Nyadran is a Javanese tradition of being grateful for the abundance of nature and preserving cultural and environmental values. This research highlights the use of plants and animals as offering materials, which have certain philosophical meanings and use values. A total of 30 plant species and 6 animal species were identified as offering materials on nyadran which is held in October, with herbaceous plants being dominant. The research used descriptive methods through purposive sampling interviews with local communities, traditional leaders and offering makers. The research results showed that most of the offering materials were obtained from local produce (56%), while the rest came from outside the city. The parts of plants that are often used are flowers and fruit, while of animals, the whole body is more often used. The high use value of plants such as coconut, jasmine and rose, shows the importance of preserving the local environment. This tradition not only reflects gratitude, but also encourages the preservation of natural resources through a cultural approach. It is hoped that this research will become a reference for further ethnobiological studies and strengthen culture-based conservation efforts.
