This is considered to provide greater benefits to employers compared to workers/laborers. Therefore, research is needed to examine how this elimination is regulated from the perspective of Maq{\=a}{\d s}id Asy-Syar{\=i}?ah. This research is library research with a prescriptive-analytic nature using a normative juridical approach. The legal materials consist of primary legal materials, namely Law No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation, and secondary legal materials, including regulations related to wages, fiqh/usul fiqh, and tertiary materials such as books, journals, or other scholarly works that provide relevant explanations. The analysis in this research uses David Ricardo?s theory of natural wages and Jasser Auda?s maq{\=a}{\d s}id asy-syar{\=i}?ah as the analytical framework. The results of the study indicate that, first, the wage provisions as regulated in Article 90B of Law No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation are contradictory in their implementation when determining worker wages. The government should provide protection to the weaker party/workers, but in reality, workers are unable to meet their basic living needs, which instead favors employers. Second, the exception for minimum wage requirements for micro and small enterprises, according to David Ricardo?s theory of natural wages, reflects an aspect of flexibility that approaches the principle of natural wages, as it adjusts wages to the conditions of micro and small enterprises. However, this policy needs to be balanced with supervision to ensure the welfare of workers/laborers. Third, from the perspective of maq{\=a}{\d s}id asy-syar{\=i}?ah, Jasser Auda?s six-feature approach{--}cognitive feature, comprehensiveness, openness, interconnected hierarchical feature, multi-dimensionality, and meaningfulness{--}shows results that are not aligned with or do not bring about public benefit, especially for workers. Therefore, the provision of the minimum wage exemption for micro and small enterprises in Article 90B of Law No. 6 of 2023 on Job Creation does not provide overall public benefit for workers/laborers.} }
