"This research is motivated by the massive practice of money politics in\r\nelections. The negative impact of money politics is prison sentences and fines,\r\ncreating a corrupt government, destroying the nation‟s paradigm, and so on. In\r\nthis context, the role of Bawaslu Bantul Regency is very important. The urgency of\r\nthis research is to understand how effective the Bawaslu institution is in\r\nupholding election justice, as well as providing solutions to the practice of money\r\npolitics which undermines the integrity of democracy. The problem in this\r\nresearch is the role of Bawaslu in preventing money politics in the 2024\r\nlegislative elections in Bantul Regency, and what is the perspective of siyasah fiqh\r\non money politics in the 2024 legislative elections.\r\nThe research in this thesis uses a field research method with a sociological\r\njuridical research approach. This research was conducted at the Bantul district\r\nBawaslu office. Data collections techniques are interviews and documentation.\r\nThe data sources used in this study were obtained from interviews with Bawaslu\r\nBantul Regency and various literature related to this study. This study uses the\r\ntheory of supervision and the theory of fiqh siyasah.\r\nThe results of field research found that Bawaslu‟s role in preventing\r\nmoney politics in Bantul Regency basen on supervision theory was not optimal in\r\ncarrying out its duties. From the perspective of fiqh siyasah, money politics is a\r\npractice that is haram in islam because it is contrary to the values of justice and\r\nthe benefit of the people.
