This study aims to determine the diversity of orchid species in the FPL PALEM Conservation (Forum Peduli Lingkungan Pecinta Alam Lereng Merapi), developlearing media in the form of printed booklet media, determine the quality of learning media booklets and determine student?s responses to booklets as a support for SMA/MA biologi learning. This study consists of two stages of research, namely research on the diversity of orchid species using the exploration method and research on the development of orchid species diversity booklets as a medium for learning biology in high schools using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The booklet that has been prepared is then tested for feasibility by media experts, material experts and peer reviewers and a limited trial to students of SMA Negeri 1 Cangkringan. The data collection instruments used in this study were documentation, interview sheets, validation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. In this study, 25 orchid species were found in the FPL PALEM Concervation. The results of the booklet and media expert assessment were 93.1%, material experts 72%, peer reviewers 94%, biology teachers 100% and student responses 89%. based on these results, it can be concluded that the Booklet on Orchid Spesies Plant Diversity in Conservation of FPL PALEM Batur Hamlet is suitable for use as a supporting media for biologi learning in the biodiversity material for class X SMA/MA.
