DI SEKOLAH-KU YAYASAN KASIH ANAK

%X The background of this study is that children with cancer
during cancer treatment can cause various physical, psychological,
social and spiritual problems. Religious culture can reduce cancer
survivors' anxiety and improve their quality of life. This study aims to
determine: (1) what are the forms of religious culture for children of
cancer survivors? (2) what are the steps to instill a religious culture in
children of cancer survivors? (3) How is the implementation strategy
of religious culture in children of cancer survivors?
This type of research is qualitative research and in terms of
data collection is a field research. The source of data from this research
is direct information from several informants according to the needs
of the researcher. Data collection techniques using interviews,
observation, and documentation. The data analysis of this research is
by reducing the data, presenting the data and then varying it to draw
conclusions using triangulation.
Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that: (1)
The forms of religious culture applied to cancer survivor children at
Sekolah-Ku include Dhuha Prayer activities, Tadarus Al-Qur'an,
Monday Thursday Fasting, and the culture of praying before and after
learning. The four religious cultures applied are expected to have a
positive impact on children with cancer. (2) The steps of instilling a
religious culture in children with cancer are carried out in 2 conditions,
namely carried out in classroom learning and learning outside the
classroom. The steps of planting in the classroom are carried out with
teacher explanations related to subject matter related to religious
culture, then the teacher provides examples and role models for
students, after that make observations and evaluations. The steps of
planting outside the classroom are by carrying out religious activities
that can increase the cultivation of religious culture in students. (3)The
strategy of implementing a religious culture in children with cancer is

useful for increasing the spiritual spirit of children with cancer. The
strategy is by creating a religious atmosphere in the learning process,
internalizing values into children, providing role models for children
with cancer so that the realization of habituation can reduce their n in
the face of treatment.
