Social support is expected to moderate the relationship between financial anxiety and academic performance. This study aims to examine the relationship between financial anxiety and academic achievement, with social support as a moderating variable. A quantitative correlational approach was employed using a convenience sampling technique, involving 131 active part-time working students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The data analysis technique used was moderation regression. The results showed that financial anxiety had a significant effect on academic achievement with a p-value of 0.045 and a negative relationship, thus supporting the first hypothesis. Social support significantly influenced academic achievement with a p-value of 0.002 and a positive relationship, thereby supporting the second minor hypothesis. Meanwhile, the interaction between financial anxiety and social support was not significant (p = 0.837), leading to the rejection of the major hypothesis. Subgroup analysis revealed that financial anxiety significantly affected academic achievement only among students with moderate levels of social support (p = 0.016). These findings highlight the importance of personal financial management and the strengthening of social support in promoting the academic success of part-time working students.
