"Cases of multidimensional crises such as sexual abuse, drugs and other crimes are\r\nproof of how dry moral values are in children's souls. Consistent moral development really\r\nneeds to be internalized by parents, especially father figures, in order to protect children\r\nfrom deviant actions. However, often the stigma regarding fathering is only seen as\r\nprotecting the family's finances, which actually has the impact of narrowing the essence of\r\nthe relationship between father and child. In fact, the figure of the father (fathering) has an\r\nimportant influence on the child's growth and development process, including in the\r\nformation of the child's morals. Therefore, this research aims to: (1) Analyzing the fathering\r\nparenting pattern in forming children's morals from a hadith perspective in Batak\r\nMandailing ethnic families, (2) Analyzing the fathering parenting model in forming\r\nchildren's morals in Mandailing Batak ethnic families, (3) Analyzing the obstacles and\r\nsolutions to implementing fathering parenting patterns in the formation children's morals\r\nin Mandailing Batak families.\r\nThis research uses a qualitative type of research using a phenomenologicalanthropological\r\napproach, the target analysis is fathering figures in implementing parenting\r\npatterns for children in Mandailing Batak families. Data collection techniques use\r\ninterviews, observation and documentation. Checking the validity of the data uses\r\ntriangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques go through the stages of data\r\ncondensation, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification.\r\nThe results of this research show that: (1) Fathering parenting patterns in the\r\nformation of children's morals from a hadith perspective in Mandailing Batak families have\r\nbeen realized through several parenting methods associated with hadiths, such as: a.\r\nHabituation method; getting children used to praying in congregation, learning to recite the\r\nKoran, fasting, and getting children used to eating by saying the name of Allah, b.\r\nExemplary method; foster children to be honest and maintain cleanliness, c. Motivating\r\nmethods; motivating children to study, d. Method of giving advice; advise children not to\r\nfall into free association, e. Method of giving punishment; impose educational or educative\r\npunishments if the child makes a mistake. (2) The model of fathering parenting in the\r\nformation of children's morals in Mandailing Batak families in Deli Serdang Regency, in\r\nthe form of: \"authoritative\" parenting, namely a parenting pattern that prioritizes two-way\r\ncommunication between parents and children. Mandailing Batak ethnic fathers are\r\ngenerally more firm and strict, but still adapt to the child's needs. (3) Obstacles and\r\nsolutions to implementing the fathering parenting style in forming children's morals in\r\nMandailing Batak families in Deli Serdang Regency, namely: a. constraint; fading Batak\r\nphilosophy in children and the negative impact of technology on children's morals, b.\r\nSolution; Mandailing Batak ethnic fathers should apply the ideal parenting model in\r\naccordance with the times.\r\nKeywords: Parenting Patterns, Fathering, Morals, Hadith."^^ .
