This study produces a learning media in the form of a Letter Scrapbook to improve early reading skills, and to determine the effectiveness of the media that has been developed.  The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) Development of Letter Scrapbook media to improve early reading skills for children aged 5-6 years; (2) Feasibility of developing Letter Scrapbook media to improve early reading skills for children aged 5-6 years; (3) Practicality of using Scrapbook Letter media to improve early reading skills of 5-6 year olds; (4) Effectiveness of developing Scrapbook Letter media to improve early reading skills of 5-6 year olds.  This study used the research and development (R&D) method with the 4-D (four D) development model at Salsabila 5 Purworejo Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. The research subjects were group B Al Fatah 1 with a total of 25 students. Data collection consisted of interviews, observations, and validation questionnaires. Validation of Scrapbook Letter media was carried out by finding feasibility tests and effectiveness tests. The feasibility test was carried out using the NP (Percentage Value) formula based on the validator's value, while the effectiveness test used SPSS type 22 and used the Paired Sample T-Test test formula with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design model.  The results of the research and development showed several findings, including: (1) Scrapbook Letter media was developed with the 4-D (Four D) development model, namely define, design, development, and disseminate; (2) The Scrapbook Letter media received a final score of 100% from the material expert, while the media expert received 97.5% with an overall category of "Very Eligible"; (3) The Scrapbook Letter media based on the practicality of the media received a final score of 97.6% from the educator with the category of "Very Eligible"; (4) The effectiveness of the Scrapbook Letter media is shown based on the results of the Paired Sample T-Test using SPSS type 22, with a Sig. (2-tailed) result of 0.000 <0.005, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average before and after the Scrapbook Letter media treatment was given. Based on this analysis, the Scrapbook Letter media can be said to be feasible, practical, and effective in improving early reading for children aged 5-6 years.
