This research uses the Research and Development method. This research design uses the ADDIE model developed by Robert Maribe Brach which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design (design, Development), Implementation (implementation) and Evaluation (evaluation). The location of this research was at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School, Sorong City. This research was conducted in class IV at Muhammadiyah Elementary School with a total of 27 students. The instruments and data collection of this research used data from the assessment of material experts, linguists, media experts, teacher assessments, questions pretest and posttest.The analysis of the effectiveness of using financial literacy textbooks was carried out by the N-gain test. Based on the assessment of material experts, linguists, media experts, and the average score and material aspect is 3.58 (decent), the language aspect is 3.83 (decent), and the media aspect is 3.47 (decent). Based on students' responses to the effectiveness test of increasing students' understanding, a gain value of 0.56 was obtained.
