        abstract = {Indonesia's abundant biodiversity and marine resources offer significant potential
for developing the maritime sector to contribute substantially to the country's
economic growth. Therefore, it is essential to develop strategies that sustainably
optimize Indonesia's marine resources while ensuring the preservation of
ecosystems and natural resources. This study seeks to analyze the influence of the
fisheries sector's added value, marine product exports, the added value of sea
transportation services, and the added value of marine tourism on Indonesia's
economic growth. The research sample consists of 34 provinces in Indonesia,
covering the period from 2008 to 2023. The research methodology employs panel
data regression analysis, with the Random Effect Model (REM) selected as the
most suitable approach. The findings indicate that the added value of the fisheries
sector and marine tourism exerts a positive but statistically insignificant impact
on Indonesia's economic growth. In contrast, the added value of sea
transportation services demonstrates a positive and significant influence on
economic growth. Meanwhile, marine product exports show a negative and
significant effect on Indonesia's economic growth.}
