PADA TANAMAN PISANG %U https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/70309/ %X Fusarium wilt disease in banana plants is caused by the pathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense. Fusarium wilt is considered the most detrimental disease in tropical regions and is difficult to control. This study tested the antifungal potential of compounds derived from the cell-free filtrate (CFF) of ScD9 bacteria isolated from the dorsal skin of the Sumaterana crassiovis frog as a biocontrol agent to inhibit the growth of Fusarium sp. both in vitro and in vivo. The CFF of ScD9 bacteria at concentrations of 2%, 4%, and 6% were tested in vitro through several assays, including mycelium inhibition and conidia germination tests. The CFF of ScD9 showed the highest antifungal activity, as evidenced by the inhibition of pathogen fungal growth. In the in vivo test on banana plants, the 6% CFF of ScD9 exhibited high biocontrol potential, with significantly lower disease incidence and disease severity index compared to the Fusarium sp. control. The CFF of ScD9 has high potential as a biocontrol agent for Fusarium sp. and warrants further development. %Z Lela Susilawati, S.Pd., M.Si., PhD.
