Limited educational media in schools can hinder successful learning outcomes. To address this issue, the researcher developed an expository-based e-module for IPAS on ecosystem harmony to enhance students’ critical thinking and foster their creative thinking skills. The objectives of this research are to: (1) develop an expository-based IPAS e-module to enhance the critical thinking skills of 5th-grade students at SD Negeri Sempu Yogyakarta, (2) determine the feasibility of the developed expository-based IPAS e-module, (3) assess students’ responses to the expository-based e-module, (4) evaluate the effectiveness of the expository-based e-module in improving critical thinking skills, and (5) understand how implementing the expository-based e- module fosters students' creative thinking. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests (pretest and posttest). The research was conducted in a 5th-grade class with 27 students. The developed material connects ecosystem harmony concepts and includes interactive elements such as discussion questions (group observation essays), interactive multiple-choice quizzes, YouTube videos, and environmental observation sheets.
