Each introduction of number symbols using media such as loose parts has various methods of application. This study aims to determine how the implementation of loose part media in the introduction of number symbols. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Wojo from May to June 2024. Observation, interviews, and documentation methods were used to collect data. The research results show that the implementation of loose part media at TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Wojo went through several stages, including the planning, execution, and evaluation stages. The stages in introducing number symbols carried out at TK ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Wojo used loose part media but were supported by the use of number cards. During the implementation of loose part media in introducing number symbols, there were several supporting and inhibiting factors. Some supporting factors include the availability of financial assistance (BOP), the school environment where it is easy to obtain loose part media materials, and the creativity of teachers and the principal in organizing children's play activities. In addition, some hindering factors found were that the loose part media suitable for introducing number symbols was less diverse, which reduced children's interest in learning.
