Unfortunately, it has received\r\nless attention in the world of education. Sexual-deviation is considered a behavior\r\nthat deviates from certain norms, although the definition varies between community\r\ngroups. Peers are one of the factors in influencing a person's understanding and\r\nsexual behavior, because they are often a source of information that is not obtained\r\nfrom the family. This study aims to determine the understanding of early\r\nadolescents and the process of providing sex education. To determine the extent of\r\nthe influence of sex education and peer conformity on sexual-deviation.\r\nThis type of research is a mixed methods study with an exploratory\r\nsequential design research design. Data in this study were taken by interview,\r\nobservation, documentation and filling out questionnaires. The type of sample used\r\nis non-probability sampling. Data collection was carried out using the sexualdeviation\r\nquestionnaire method, sex education questionnaire and peer conformity\r\nquestionnaire. The data collection instrument was adapted from previous research\r\nand validated by expert validators. Data analysis includes descriptive analysis and\r\nmultiple linear regression analysis.\r\nThe results of the study showed; 1) The lack of understanding of sex\r\neducation in early adolescence is caused by curriculum limitations, cultural\r\nbarriers, and lack of involvement of parents and professionals. 2) The process of\r\nproviding sex education is still very limited due to limited coverage of materials,\r\nless interactive delivery methods, and social and cultural barriers. 3) The large\r\ninfluence of sex education on sexual-deviation with a significance value of p =\r\n0.920 (p < 0.05) then Ha is rejected. The large influence of peer conformity on\r\nsexual-deviation with a significance value of p = 0.776 (p < 0.05) then Ha is\r\nrejected. The large influence of sex education and peer conformity on sexualdeviation\r\nwith a significance value of p = 0.891 (p < 0.05) then Ha is rejected. The\r\ncalculated f-value < f-table (0.116 > 2.66). This means that sex education and\r\nconformity cannot be predictors of sexual-deviation."^^ . "2025-01-22" . . . .
