This is because students who are involved in organizations have more academic workloads when compared to students who do not participate in organisations. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and hardiness to academic burnout in students who participate in organisations. This research method uses quantitative correlation. The sample in this study were students from both social and science clumps who participated in extracurricular organisations and attending universities in Yogyakarta. The sampling was accidental sampling technique. Total sample in the research was 142 college students. The research instruments used were MBI-SS, General Self-Efficacy Scale, and Hardiness Scale. Data analysis using multiple linear regression techniques assisted by using Jamovi software Version 2.6.13. The results showed that the major hypothesis was accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and hardiness with academic burnout. Then, the results showed that the independent variables of self-efficacy and hardiness significantly influenced academic burnout partially. The coefficient of determination analysis indicates that 27,9% of academic burnout students involved in organizations can be explained by self-efficacy and hardiness variables. Therefor, it is hoped that students who take part in organisations can increase self-efficacy and hardiness in order to avoid academic burnout.
