The research data used is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS). The analysis method uses panel data regression processed with software Eviews 10. The results showed that variables of human resource quality and unemployment have a positive and significant effect on poverty. While the minimum wage variable has a negative and significant effect on poverty. And the variable distribution of Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah (ZIS) has no significant effect on poverty. The government and policy makers improve the quality of human resources through quality education, and optimize ZIS distribution by improving public literacy. Thus, these strategies are expected to be an effective solution in reducing poverty in Indonesia.
