The absence of definitive protection from the law made domestic workers more vulnerable to violence, especially women. Research from the Domestic Workers Advocacy Network (JALA PRT) shows that there were 2,641 cases of domestic violence in the 2018-2023 period. Even so, the media takes sides with certain groups or views. In writing about women’s issues, the media often not place women as subjects but instead as marginalized objects. This research aims to find out how women’s discourse is built by Mubadalah.id Online Media. The media was chosen because it is an Islamic media that principles the value of equality and justice for men and women. The research uses the critical discourse analysis method of Sara Mills model, feminism theory and hegemony theory. Researchers uncovered women’s discourses that contain messages of feminism and the hegemonizing process that occurs in the media. Placement of subject-object position and writerader position, women are presented as a group that is not marginalized. Mubadalah.id discusses women as a vulnerable group that must be protected, women are discussed as a group that has the courage to speak out while continuing to work. Finally, women are discussed as equal to men.
