The trade gravity model assumes that the volume of trade between countries is influenced by GDP and geographical distance, as well as other factors such as population and exchange rates. The data used in this study covers Indonesia's exports to various major trading partners within the APEC member countries from 2014 to 2023, utilizing secondary data from the World Bank and UNCOMTRADE. The analytical method employed is panel data regression. The results indicate that the economic size of trading partner countries has a significant positive impact on Indonesia's exports. Meanwhile, population, real exchange rates, and distance contribute positively but insignificantly to enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia's exports.
