%X The santri's belief in the practice of bilaruh fasting at HM Al-Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School is an interesting phenomenon that reflects their belief in the spiritual practices taught at the Boarding School. This study aims to determine the factors that influence santri's belief in bilaruh fasting, as well as how the pesantren builds and maintains this belief. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach, data obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of santri, and pesantren administrators. The selection of informants in this study is based on students who practice bilaruh fasting at HM Al-Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School. The results showed that santri trust was formed through several factors including: culture and traditions of the pesantren, exemplary caregivers, teachers, and kyai, as well as personal experience. The culture of bilaruh fasting which has become a tradition at HM Al-Mahrusiyah Islamic Boarding School strengthens the students' belief in this practice. The example of caregivers and kyai provides motivation for students to follow their directions. In addition, the personal experiences of santri who feel spiritual and emotional benefits, such as a sense of peace, increased gratitude, and self-control, further strengthen their belief that bilaruh fasting has a positive impact and is worth preserving. In conclusion, santri's belief in bilaruh fasting at HM Al-Mahrusiyah Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School is not only based on spiritual beliefs, but also on the influence of the pesantren environment that is consistent in maintaining the tradition, and providing support, to the santri. This research provides insight into the role of pesantren as an educational institution in shaping santri's belief in religious practices.
