Many audiences, especially young people, using social media as a source to gaining this information. One of the Instagram accounts that is concerned about discussing the 2024 presidential election is the @bijakmemilih.id. Based on this phenomenon, this research wants to see how much influence Social Interaction on Instagram @bijakmemilih.id through Media Addiction has on the Level of Fear of Missing Out / FoMO in the 2024 Presidential Election. This research uses Media Dependency Theory with the assumption that "the more a person depends on the media for fulfill their needs, the greater the influence of the media on that person.” Quantitative methods were used in this research with the Path Analysis test. The research results shows that the Social Interaction variable on Instagram @bijakmemilih.id via Media Addiction on the Level of Fear of Missing Out / FoMO in the 2024 Presidential Election has a significant influence with an influence size of 0.764.
