Through the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile, Indonesian education wants to make students in all corners of the country to better understand, appreciate, and implement the values of Pancasila. In addition to being the nation's fundamentals, Pancasila is also the state ideology that has been agreed upon by the founding fathers of this nation. The state ideology that is open and embraced by all communities from ethnicities, religions, races and inter-groups has a wealth, diversity and distinctive cultural characteristics. Analyzing the Pancasila Student Profile in Islamic Religious Education is an interesting study. Because the concept of the Pancasila Student Profile has just been rolled out by the government as an effort to strengthen Pancasila values for the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the Profile of Pancasila Students at Ungaran 1 Yogyakarta State Elementary School and examine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing the Profile of Pancasila Students through Islamic Religious Education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data sources in the form of observation, documentation and interviews with the Principal, Curriculum Section, Islamic Religious Education Subject Teachers. The results of the study indicate that understanding the Independent Curriculum is able to encourage school innovation and make a significant contribution to the formation of the Pancasila Student Profile. With a flexible approach based on student needs, the Independent Curriculum allows the development of innovative learning methods that not only focus on improving cognitive aspects, but also developing student character holistically. PAI teachers have a strategic role in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile (P3) by acting as educators, role models, facilitators, and connectors between religious values and students' social lives.
