Amidst this richness, intolerance-based conflicts remain a serious problem, including in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which often draws attention for cases of discrimination and violations of religious freedom. However, the Religious Moderation Village of Plumbon in Bantul Regency stands as an exemplar with its high level of tolerance that successfully creates harmony amid diversity. This success is supported by pluralistic parenting patterns that effectively instill religious moderation values in young generations. This research aims to analyze the design and implementation of pluralistic parenting in the village, hoping to inspire other families and communities in maintaining diversity and harmony. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The religious psychology approach is applied to explore individual behavior in religious contexts. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validation uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis is conducted through stages of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. This research is based on the religious moderation theory from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, NISWA (Islamic Wasathiyyah Values), and internalization theory. The research findings reveal that the pluralistic parenting design in Plumbon Moderation Village encompasses several important aspects: providing understanding about tolerance and pluralism, teaching firm religious principles, prioritizing discussion, directing children to socialize, and parents acting as role models. Implementation is carried out through one-way verbal communication (lectures/advice), creating discussion spaces within the family environment, taking children to diverse environments, and active parental participation in the surrounding community. The impact of implementing this design includes enhanced appreciation for differences, strengthening religious identity while respecting other beliefs, developing social skills in diverse environments, and active youth involvement in community activities. Challenges faced include the presence of newcomers with extremist views and the massive presence of intolerant social media content. As a form of development, strengthening parental control and creating collective habits within families are recommended to reinforce the implementation of this design in shaping religious moderation attitudes among young generations.
