"Learning media plays an important role in the learning process as a tool to\r\nconvey information and increase interaction between teachers and students. However,\r\nmany teachers still use simple learning media such as student worksheets, which can\r\nmake children bored quickly and are very monotonous and less interesting, so that\r\nstudents' interest in learning decreases. Therefore, learning media should be adjusted\r\nto the needs of early childhood children.\r\nThis study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type, preexperiment\r\ndesign type one-group pretest-posttest design. The validity and reliability\r\ntest of the congklak game media on the ability to recognize number concepts and\r\narithmetic abilities was carried out by experts. The location of the study was at RA\r\nFatimah Palembang, the study was conducted in class B1, consisting of 20 children.\r\nThe results of this study indicate that the normality test data carried out on the\r\npretest and posttest showed a normal distribution, the pretest and posttest obtained a\r\nvalue of 0.200> 0.05, then it was stated to be normally distributed. In the paired sample\r\nt-test for the ability to recognize the concept of numbers, the average values of the\r\npretest and posttest were obtained, namely the pretest 23.50 and 35.35 from both data,\r\nthe average posttest is known. But to ensure there is an increase after treatment, it can\r\nbe seen in the paired samples test table which has sig data, 0.000, it can be concluded\r\nthat in this study there was an increase and for the ability to count, the average value\r\nof the pretest and posttest was 19.10 and 20.20 from both data, the average value of\r\nthe posttest is known, but to ensure there is an increase after treatment, it can be seen\r\nin the paired samples test table which has sig data, 0.00, it can be concluded that there\r\nis a significant influence of the traditional congklak game on children's counting\r\nability.\r\nIn the N-gain test, for the ability to recognize the concept of numbers, the\r\npretest value was 23.5 while for the posttest value it was 35.35 and for the N-Gain\r\nvalue it was obtained with a value of 0.63 so it can be concluded that the ability to\r\nrecognize the concept of numbers is in the effective interpretation and for the criteria\r\nit is high. While for the ability to count, the pretest value was 19.1 while for the posttest\r\nvalue it was 20.2 and for the N-Gain value it was obtained with a value of 0.57. so it\r\ncan be concluded that the ability to count is in the effective interpretation and for its\r\ncriteria is high."^^ .
