This study proposes a Real-Life & Live Learning learning model assisted by Short Movie Video as an innovative strategy to increase students' understanding of Pancasila values. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the influence of the use of the Real-Life & Live Learning Model Assisted by Short Movie Video in improving the understanding of Pancasila Ideology among elementary school students. 2) Knowing the difference in understanding of the Pancasila Ideology between students in the experimental class, and the control class. 3) Knowing the challenges faced by teachers in using the Real-Life & Live Learning Model Assisted by Short Movie Video as a learning medium, as well as how to provide explanations about the Pancasila Ideology to elementary school students. This type of research is a mixed method. Quantitative methods were used to obtain data on the improvement of students' understanding of Pancasila Ideology after watching the Short Movie Video. The type of quantitative method used is quasi-experimental experiments with pre-test and post-test designs. The sample was taken by nonprobability sampling technique with a purposive sampling type. This research was carried out in November 2024 - January 2025 which is located in the 6th grade of SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan. The control class sample was in class 6B which amounted to 22 students, and the experimental class sample was class 6A students totaling 22 students. Quantitative data collection techniques that will be used by researchers are observation, questionnaires, and tests. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and teachers. Quantitative data analysis through validity test, reliability test, normality test, mean difference test, N-Gain test assisted by using SPSS 23 software. Meanwhile, the qualitative data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. The validity of qualitative data was tested using triangulation methods. After the implementation of this research at SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan, it can be found that based on the two quantitative results of the Non-Parametric Statistical Test, Students' understanding of Pancasila Ideology is known to make decisions based on the output of the "Statistical Test" is known that the value of Asyimp. Sig (2-tailed) by 0.000 < 0.05. It can then be concluded that "Hypothesis accepted", and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be said that there is a difference in students' understanding of Pancasila Ideology between the experimental class through the use of the Real-Life Model & Live Learning Assisted by Short Movie Video and the conventional control class. Based on the quantitative results of the students' understanding of the Pancasila Ideology, it was shown that the average N-Gain score for the experimental class through the use of Short Movie Video was 64.7825 or 65%, which was included in the category of quite effective. With an N-Gain score of at least -33%, and a maximum of 100%. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the control class (conventional) is 42.2919 or 42% is categorized as less effective. So it can be seen that the use of the Real-Life & Live Learning Model Assisted by Short Movie Video is quite effective to improve the understanding of Pancasila Ideology of elementary school students.
