This study proposes a\r\nReal-Life & Live Learning learning model assisted by Short\r\nMovie Video as an innovative strategy to increase students'\r\nunderstanding of Pancasila values. The objectives of this study\r\nare: 1) To determine the influence of the use of the Real-Life\r\n& Live Learning Model Assisted by Short Movie Video in\r\nimproving the understanding of Pancasila Ideology among\r\nelementary school students. 2) Knowing the difference in\r\nunderstanding of the Pancasila Ideology between students in\r\nthe experimental class, and the control class. 3) Knowing the\r\nchallenges faced by teachers in using the Real-Life & Live\r\nLearning Model Assisted by Short Movie Video as a learning\r\nmedium, as well as how to provide explanations about the\r\nPancasila Ideology to elementary school students.\r\nThis type of research is a mixed method. Quantitative\r\nmethods were used to obtain data on the improvement of\r\nstudents' understanding of Pancasila Ideology after watching\r\nthe Short Movie Video. The type of quantitative method used\r\nis quasi-experimental experiments with pre-test and post-test\r\ndesigns. The sample was taken by nonprobability sampling\r\ntechnique with a purposive sampling type. This research was\r\ncarried out in November 2024 - January 2025 which is located\r\nin the 6th grade of SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan. The\r\ncontrol class sample was in class 6B which amounted to 22\r\nstudents, and the experimental class sample was class 6A\r\nstudents totaling 22 students. Quantitative data collection\r\ntechniques that will be used by researchers are observation,\r\nquestionnaires, and tests. Qualitative data were collected\r\nthrough in-depth interviews with students and teachers.\r\nQuantitative data analysis through validity test, reliability test,\r\nnormality test, mean difference test, N-Gain test assisted by\r\nusing SPSS 23 software. Meanwhile, the qualitative data\r\nanalysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman analysis\r\ntechnique. The validity of qualitative data was tested using\r\ntriangulation methods.\r\nAfter the implementation of this research at SD\r\nMuhammadiyah Banguntapan, it can be found that based on\r\nthe two quantitative results of the Non-Parametric Statistical\r\nTest, Students' understanding of Pancasila Ideology is known\r\nto make decisions based on the output of the \"Statistical Test\"\r\nis known that the value of Asyimp. Sig (2-tailed) by 0.000 <\r\n0.05. It can then be concluded that \"Hypothesis accepted\", and\r\nH0 is rejected. Thus, it can be said that there is a difference in\r\nstudents' understanding of Pancasila Ideology between the\r\nexperimental class through the use of the Real-Life Model &\r\nLive Learning Assisted by Short Movie Video and the\r\nconventional control class. Based on the quantitative results\r\nof the students' understanding of the Pancasila Ideology, it\r\nwas shown that the average N-Gain score for the experimental\r\nclass through the use of Short Movie Video was 64.7825 or\r\n65%, which was included in the category of quite effective.\r\nWith an N-Gain score of at least -33%, and a maximum of\r\n100%. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the control\r\nclass (conventional) is 42.2919 or 42% is categorized as less\r\neffective. So it can be seen that the use of the Real-Life & Live\r\nLearning Model Assisted by Short Movie Video is quite\r\neffective to improve the understanding of Pancasila Ideology\r\nof elementary school students.
