The Constitutional Court (MK) has the authority to resolve election disputes, including examining complaints filed by parties who feel disadvantaged by the election results, including candidate pairs and other relevant parties. In the context of the 2024 Presidential Election, the MK's authority is not limited to technical aspects but also includes substantive aspects related to the validity and fairness of the election process. The Constitutional Court plays a role as the guardian of the constitution, ensuring that the election process follows the applicable legal provisions and maintaining fairness and the legitimacy of the election results. This article aims to analyze in-depth the authority of the MK in resolving the 2024 presidential election disputes, both from procedural and substantive perspectives. The results of this study explain that the authority of the Constitutional Court in resolving election disputes for the president and vice president has undergone various changes in regulations and dispute resolution procedures, starting from the application of deadlines for dispute resolution, the use of the structured, systematic, and massive (TSM) principle, to the strengthening of evidence standards with electronic evidence. In the 2024 election, the Constitutional Court adopted an e-court system, which allows the trial process to proceed more quickly, efficiently, and transparently.
