        abstract = {This research aims to examine the factors underlying the Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah order at Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda Jetis Kebumen, which is predominantly composed of elderly individuals, the Islamic educational values present in the practices of the order, indicators that show an increase in spirituality felt by elderly followers, and the strategies of Pondok Pesantren Al-Huda in disseminating the teachings of the order to the wider community. Sufism plays an important role in the spiritual life of religious Indonesian individuals, helping them to draw closer to Allah SWT. It was found that to become a member of the Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah order, there are no specific rules regarding age limits. However, in practice, the implementation of the Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah order is more followed and favored by the elderly. This poses a challenge for the education of the tarekat to continue developing in society, not only among the elderly but also among the younger generation.
This research uses a type of field qualitative research aimed at understanding the phenomenon of the Nqasyabandiyah Kholidiyah Tarekat in Jetis Kebumen directly in the field, particularly related to the factors behind the dominance of the elderly in the tarekat, the values of Islamic education in the tarekat practices based on the experiences of elderly tarekat followers, and the strategies implemented by the pesantren in developing the tarekat to the wider community. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, as well as data analysis. The sample in this study focuses on teachers (mursyid), heads of Islamic boarding schools, representatives of Sufi orders, and elderly followers of Sufi orders (aged 60 and above).
The results of this study indicate that: First, there are internal and external factors that encourage the followers of the Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah order in Jetis. Second, the teachings within the order contain Islamic educational values that can shape individuals into morally upright people and bring them closer to Allah SWT. Third, the increased spirituality of elderly followers of the Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Kholidiyah Jetis through a process that begins with intention and a sincere pledge, the existence of guidance as a process for practicing dhikr, and the experiences felt by elderly followers after practicing dhikr (the values and practices taught in the tarekat that make the elderly live more peacefully, happily, and meaningfully in their old age) has become an achievement. Fourth, the strategy for the development of the order, which includes the formation of order administrators, the creation of membership cards, and regular activities (Selasanan, Jum?atan, Selapanan, Triwulanan, and Khaul Masyayikh). Using the principle "Where there is honey, there are bees that come close" to attract the attention of the community.}
