"Digital literacy is needed during the presidential election. This study aims to\r\ndetermine the level of digital literacy of Indonesian students concerning what\r\nthey do with social media information in facing the 2024 presidential election.\r\nWe conducted a survey in which questionnaires were used as a research\r\ninstrument to measure the four digital competencies: technical skill,\r\ninformation usage, communication, and creation. The questionnaires are sent\r\nto four Indonesian public universities. One hundred ninety-seven students\r\nfrom four State Islamic Universities (Universitas Islam Negeri) participated in\r\nthis study. We used the mean and percentage score for the data analysis. The\r\nresearch result shows that, on average, the students’ levels of digital literacy\r\ncompetence are in the advanced category. The students have acquired the\r\nneeded digital literacy competence and are ready to face the coming\r\npresidential election.
