The aims of this research are: 1) to find out and explain how the quality of graduates at MI Muhammadiyah plays a role; 2) to find out and explain how the principal's strategy is in improving the quality of graduates at MI Muhammadiyah Beran; 3) to find out and explain how the implementation of the strategy carried out by the principal at MI Muhammadiyah Beran. This research is a type of qualitative research using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interview and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As for the validity of the data techniques using technical triangulation and source triangulation. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) The quality of graduates at MI Muhammadiyah Beran is good in terms of achievements and testimonials from student guardians, besides that the quality of graduates at MI Muhammadiyah Beran has been equipped with religious understanding, cultivation of adab and tahfidz of the Koran. The performance of teaching staff at MI Muhammadiyah Beran has also been well marked by time discipline and innovation in learning; (2) The principal's strategy in improving the quality of graduates is: (a) disabling extracurriculars for grades 6 in semester 2 and focusing more on the subjects tested, (b) holding extracurriculars for grades 1 to 5 to explore students' potential; (3) The implementation carried out by the principal at MI Muhammadiyah Beran on the first point by holding training for teachers so that they master modern teaching methods, then there is a reedial program and guidance or tutoring to provide additional classes for students who have difficulty in learning. The implementation of the second point strategy is to determine the type of extra activities such as academic, arts and culture or sports. Then, arrange a schedule of activities so that learning hours are not disturbed. Provide trainers, facilities and such as practice rooms and equipment.
