Corporate reputation is considered a valuable asset that influences the perception of prospective applicants, while career planning helps individuals in making more structured decisions. Self-efficacy is also associated with ease in career decision making. This study used a convenience sampling method with 106 respondents from five campuses in Yogyakarta that have Islamic banking study programs. Primary data were analyzed using Smart-PLS with descriptive analysis techniques, outer model tests, and inner model tests. The results show that corporate reputation and career planning have a positive and significant effect on students' interest in pursuing a career in Islamic banking, while self-efficacy has no effect. These findings can be a reference for students and educational institutions in understanding the factors that influence career choices in the Islamic banking industry.
