%X This study investigates how much liquidity is created by banks from factors that are considered to influence them. Annual data is analyzed for 10 Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia and Malaysia with 5 banks each during the period 2017 - 2023 using panel data regression analysis. The results of the study found a negative effect between Bank Capital and Liquidity Creation. A positive effect of Loan Distribution on Liquidity Creation was also found in both sample groups. However, in the Credit Risk variable, no significant results were found. A high capital ratio causes bank liquidity creation to decrease. This study found a trade-off between less or more liquidity creation.
