"Every individual has a value or belief in himself, so that he can decide on a goal that he will live. In\r\ngeneral, a man is the head of the household who actively works outside the home, such as being a teacher,\r\nlecturer, employee, and others to fulfil his family's livelihood, but work from home can also fulfil the needs\r\nor livelihood of his family. Along with the development of times, especially in Indonesia, nowadays many\r\nwomen are more active in working outside, so they become career women. A family support has an\r\ninfluence on individuals in working. This research aims to find out the values possessed by fathers who\r\nwork from home and aspects of family support given to mothers who work outside the home. This research\r\nis a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out using the\r\nmethod of documentation and interviews with 3 main informants and 3 significant other or supporting\r\ninformants, namely the wife of the informant. The criteria for the informants of this study are fathers who\r\nhave an age range of 40-55 years, have children who still live at home, and have wives who are more\r\nactive in working from outside the home, who are selected using the purposive sampling technique. The\r\ndata analysis techniques used are data collection, data management (data managing), reading and making\r\nmemos, explaining, classifying, interpreting (describing, classifying, interpreting), and presenting and\r\nvisualising data. The results show that the experiences of the three informants who work from home in\r\nsupporting their wives through emotional, appraisal, instrumental, and informational support brigs up\r\nvalues, namely the value of benevolence and the value of security. As well as the value of conformity owned\r\nby one of the informants and the two informants do not brings up the value of conformity. These values\r\nunderlie each from of support provided, thus strengthening family relationships, creating harmony, and\r\nproviding a sense of security and happiness to the partners."^^ .
