N2  - Every individual has a value or belief in himself, so that he can decide on a goal that he will live. In
general, a man is the head of the household who actively works outside the home, such as being a teacher,
lecturer, employee, and others to fulfil his family's livelihood, but work from home can also fulfil the needs
or livelihood of his family. Along with the development of times, especially in Indonesia, nowadays many
women are more active in working outside, so they become career women. A family support has an
influence on individuals in working. This research aims to find out the values possessed by fathers who
work from home and aspects of family support given to mothers who work outside the home. This research
is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out using the
method of documentation and interviews with 3 main informants and 3 significant other or supporting
informants, namely the wife of the informant. The criteria for the informants of this study are fathers who
have an age range of 40-55 years, have children who still live at home, and have wives who are more
active in working from outside the home, who are selected using the purposive sampling technique. The
data analysis techniques used are data collection, data management (data managing), reading and making
memos, explaining, classifying, interpreting (describing, classifying, interpreting), and presenting and
visualising data. The results show that the experiences of the three informants who work from home in
supporting their wives through emotional, appraisal, instrumental, and informational support brigs up
values, namely the value of benevolence and the value of security. As well as the value of conformity owned
by one of the informants and the two informants do not brings up the value of conformity. These values
underlie each from of support provided, thus strengthening family relationships, creating harmony, and
providing a sense of security and happiness to the partners.
