This crisis emerges from the dominance of rationality, materialism, and the reduction of spiritual meaning. Technological and scientific advancements have led human beings to deify themselves and exploit nature. Secularism has become a prevailing worldview that separates the spiritual dimension from public life, including science, education, and the human relationship with nature. Seyyed Hossein Nasr, a prominent contemporary Muslim thinker, offers a sharp critique of secularism and proposes the concept of tawhid as a philosophical and spiritual revitalization. This research is based on two main questions: (1) What is the concept of tawhid in Seyyed Hossein Nasr?s thought? and (2) How is this concept used as a critique of secularism? The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze Nasr's understanding of tawhid and examine how it serves as the foundation for his critique of modern secularism. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical and interpretive approach. The data were collected through a literature review of Nasr's primary works, including The Need for a Sacred Science and Knowledge and the Sacred, as well as relevant secondary literature. An interpretive approach was applied to uncover the philosophical and spiritual meanings of tawhid within Nasr?s critique. The findings reveal that Nasr views tawhid not merely as a theological doctrine but as a metaphysical principle that unites all reality with the Divine. In Nasr's perspective, tawhid serves as a holistic foundation that integrates spirituality with science and modern life. His critique of secularism is grounded in the belief that the separation between the sacred and the profane has led to a crisis of meaning and spirituality in human life. Therefore, he offers a spiritual approach that reunifies humanity, God, and nature through the awareness of divine unity. Nasr?s contribution provides a significant response to the challenges of modernity, particularly in the fields of education, ecology, and morality.} }
