        abstract = {The digital era has made the internet and social media the main means of communicating and sharing information. Instagram, one of the popular applications in Indonesia, plays a role in disseminating political information. Accounts like @pinterpolitik with 645,000 Followers provide political content that raises public awareness, supports democracy and encourages government transparency. This research aims to measure the magnitude of the influence of the intensity of social media use and interaction on political awareness. The theory used in this research is the Uses and Influence Theory. This research used a quantitative descriptive survey method with a research sample of 100 Followers of the Instagram account @pinterpolitik and was determined using the Stratified Random Sampling sampling technique. The research results were calculated using multiple linear regression analysis which resulted in the Intensity of Social Media Use and Interaction having a positive effect on Political Awareness with a strong level of relationship based on a coefficient of determination (R-Square) value of 0.672. It can be interpreted that the intensity of use and interaction of social media has an influence of 67.2\% on political awareness and the other 32.8\% is influenced by other factors.}
