N2  - This study discusses K.H. Anas and his role in the spread of the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village, Astana Japura, Cirebon Regency in 1927-1947 AD. The focus of this study includes the spread of the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village, Cirebon in 1927-1947 AD, the biography and role of K.H. Anas in the spread of the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village. This study is limited between 1927-1947 AD on the grounds that 1927 was the beginning of K.H. Anas becoming the muqoddam of the Tarekat Tijaniyah and returning from Mecca to Indonesia and starting to spread the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Buntet, while 1947 is the limitation because K.H. Anas died.
The approach used in this study is a biographical and sociological approach. This biographical approach is used to find out the life of K.H. Anas starting from his family background, education, until the death of K.H. Anas. then the sociological approach used to determine the social environmental conditions of the Sidamulya Village community. The theory used in this study is the diffusion theory, this theory is used to explain what was done by K.H. Anas and his role in the spread of the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village. The method used in this study is the historical method which includes four stages, the first heuristic, the second Verification, the third interpretation, and the last is historiography. This writing aims to describe and explain about K.H. Anas and his role in the spread of the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village, Astana Japura District, Cirebon Regency.
The results of this study indicate that, first, the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village was first spread by K.H. Anas; Second, in spreading the Tarekat Tijaniyah in Sidamulya Village, KH. Anas played a role in forming Tarekat Tijaniyah cadres by allegiance to several figures from the Buntet Islamic Boarding School. In addition, KH. Anas also played a role in increasing the spirituality of the community, especially the congregation of the Tarekat Tijaniyah through various activities, such as teaching books, reading the manakib of Sheikh al-Tijani and general religious studies.
