The study employs descriptive qualitative research. The subjects are users of facilities and spaces at IVAA, and the object is the users' comfort within IVAA?s facilities and spaces. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, forum group discussions (FGDs), literature review, and documentation. The collected data are then analyzed using data reduction methods, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. This research elaborates on users' comfort at IVAA in ten aspects: circulation, climate support, lighting, acoustics, fragrance/smells, building and facilities design, cleanliness, safety, and psychological comfort. According to IVAA standards, it falls short of the comfort standards of government archives and library buildings. However, this uniqueness is inherent to IVAA, with its tropical building concept and emphasis on social interaction freedom. The results of this research indicate that users generally find IVAA comfortable, albeit with room for improvement, particularly regarding temperature control and safety measures. Through the participatory ergonomics approach, suggestions about users? comfort have been gathered to enhance users' comfort at IVAA, serving as recommendations for future improvements.
