"This research is motivated by the moral crisis caused by the many cases of\r\njuvenile delinquency in schools and outside schools which show that students lack\r\ngood character and the importance of character formation of students, especially\r\nin the modern era where moral and ethical values are often neglected. This study\r\naims to determine the effect of the implementation of full day school in character\r\nformation of students at MAN 2 Bantul and how much influence full day school\r\nhas in character formation.\r\nThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation\r\nof full day school in character formation of students at MAN 2 Bantul and how\r\nmuch influence full day school has in character formation. The benefits of this\r\nstudy are to contribute to the development of education in the future, especially as\r\na reference in the implementation of a better Full Day School and improving the\r\neducation process in the future, as well as providing input for educational\r\ninstitutions in shaping the character of students.\r\nIn this study, quantitative methods were used to analyze data and test\r\nhypotheses. Using simple random sampling techniques, a sample of 137 students\r\nwas selected from a population of 208 students. The questionnaire was used as a\r\ndata collection instrument, which had previously been tested for validity through\r\nthe Pearson Product Moment correlation test and its reliability through the\r\nCronbach Alpha test to ensure that the instrument was valid and reliable. Data\r\nanalysis included classical assumption tests, descriptive statistical analysis, linear\r\nregression, and T tests, with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics version 26\r\napplication to obtain accurate and reliable results.\r\nBased on the research findings, it shows that the implementation of Full Day\r\nSchool at MAN 2 Bantul has a positive and significant impact on the character\r\nformation of students, with a correlation value of 0.605 indicating a strong\r\nrelationship, and a significance value of 0.000 which is less than 0.05. The\r\nmagnitude of the influence of Full Day School implementation on student\r\ncharacter formation is 36.6% (R Square = 0.366), which means that FDS has a\r\nconsiderable impact on shaping student character, thus it can be concluded that the\r\nimplementation of FDS is effective in enhancing student character formation at\r\nMAN 2 Bantul."^^ .
