However, the repetitive use of sensors, suc as glassy carbon electrodes (GCE), and the presence of other influencing factors (e.g., redox reactions) can lead to electrode fouling, which in turn reduces electrode performance. Therefore, this study investigates the effect of electrode fouling on the voltammogram characteristics of ascorbic acid using the Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) method. The objective of this research is to explore methods for restoring electrode performance through electrode regeneration and correcting peak current positions using the chemometric method Correlation Optimized Warping (COW). The CV voltammogram of ascorbic acid shows an oxidation peak at a potential of 0,289 V. electrode fouling causes the oxidation peak of ascorbic acid to shift toward a more positive potential, reaching 0,975 V. Electrode regeneration conducted by CV scanning in 0,1 M H2SO4 was not fully effective in restoring electrode performance. To address the issue, COW was applied to correct the oxidation peak position of ascorbic acid, resulting in a corrected peak at 0,4125 V. The Square Wave Voltammetry (SWV) method was used to analyze the relationships within the voltammogram and to determine the ascorbic acid content in a multivitamin tablet sample. The results showed a linear relationship between ascorbic acid concentration and the generated current, with a determination coefficient (R2) of 0,9847, indicating good linearity. The concentration of ascorbic acid in the multivitamin tablet sample was found to be 770,7 ppm, with a recovery percentage ranging from 98,62% to 100,59%.
