As social religious beings, the Sokomoyo Buddhist community needs to revive the habits in their religious social life that were hampered during Covid-19. In the process, religious values that are raised together act as social glue that strengthens collective solidarity. Thus, efforts are needed to reorganize, strengthen and rebuild the socio-religious reality as before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred. This study has the objective, namely to explain socio-religious conditions before, during and after Covid-19, as well as to analyze the form of socio-religious adaptation after Covid-19 and its role as a social adhesive. This research is qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique was through interviews with Buddhist community leaders, Giridharma Vihara administrators and Sokomoyo community leaders, accompanied by direct observation in the research area to documentation. Research data analysis with data reduction, data display and data verification. Two theories were used to analyze research problems. AGIL theory is used to analyze the form of socio-religious adaptation of the post-Covid-19 Buddhist community. Meanwhile, the theory of religious functionalism is to examine the role of adaptation, especially in the religious aspect as a social glue. The results of the study show that the socio-religious conditions of the Buddhist community in Sokomoyo before, during and after Covid-19 have significant differences. Previously, the socio-religious conditions of the Buddhist community were normal and natural. During Covid-19, the socio-religious conditions of the Buddhist community experienced limitations, so they adapted to new habits and took advantage of other alternatives. Meanwhile, after Covid-19, the Buddhist community has again adapted to the endemic period, by reorganizing, strengthening and restoring the existence of the collective socio-religious community. In the process, socio-religious adaptation has two forms. First, internal organizing, adaptation efforts that take place among fellow Buddhist communities. Second, external arrangements, adaptation efforts with the general public in Sokomoyo and its surroundings. The adaptations that have been made, especially in the religious aspect, have indirectly acted as a social glue that triggers the collective passion for life among them. date: 2025-05-27 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/71373/1/21105040007_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/71373/2/21105040007_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf identifier: Yeriastana Jati Ramadhani, NIM.: 21105040007 (2025) ADAPTASI SOSIAL KEAGAMAAN SEBAGAI PEREKAT SOSIAL MASYARAKAT BUDDHA PASCA COVID-19 (STUDI KASUS DI PADUKUHAN SOKOMOYO, KABUPATEN KULON PROGO).
