The neglect of the surrounding environment causes the formation of rampant juvenile delinquency such as fighting, bullying, skipping class, drugs, wild racing, betting, online gambling, consuming alcohol, committing criminal acts to promiscuity. From this, prevention is needed by involving the role of various parties to reshape the real character of adolescents, through group guidance that can create better student behavior than previous behavior. This type of research approach is descriptive qualitative analysis, data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, and testing the validity of data with triangulation techniques. The subjects of this research are one counseling teachers and four students of class VII D MTs Negeri 2 Sleman. The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze and identify the stages of group guidance to shape the social character of MTs Negeri 2 Sleman students. The stages of group guidance consist of four stages, namely opening, transition, activities, and ending. The results showed that group guidance activities can reduce student problems and reshape students' social character so that students can return to learning comfortably so that students can return to learning comfortably. %Z Zaen Musyirifin, S.Sos., M.Pd.I
