Very varied social media such as TikTok is the initial media that bridges someone to do self-diagnosis. Health content about menstrual cycle disorders is one of the issues discussed in TikTok social media content. This study aims to determine the motives and satisfaction of santriwati Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Muhsin Yogyakarta in self-diagnosing menstrual cycle disorders on TikTok social media based on the Uses and Gratification theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study, this research explores the experiences of eight informants. The results of this study show that the santriwati have various motives, including the motives of supervision, personal identity, social integration and interaction, and diversion. TikTok is a medium that is considered to fulfill cognitive, affective, personal integration, social integration, and tension release needs. Despite feeling helped, some informants still conduct further verification on other platforms or to the closest people such as family or friends. This study shows that TikTok serves as a significant source of initial information in the context of women's reproductive health, but still requires proper digital and health literacy to avoid misdiagnosis. %Z Dra.
