One of its notable impacts is the emergence of parasocial relationships between fans and K-Pop idols, characterized by emotional closeness despite the absence of direct interaction. This study aims to examine how such parasocial relationships are utilized by Fuadh Naim as a strategy for Islamic preaching (dakwah) through video content on the YouTube channel @FuadhNaimOfficial. Employing a qualitative approach and Roland Barthes? semiotic analysis, this research investigates five videos from the playlist "Babopini Season 2," which incorporate Korean Wave cultural symbols such as K-Pop idols, K- Pop music, and common Korean language expressions as religious communication tools. The findings reveal that Fuadh Naim strategically leverages parasocial relationships to foster emotional engagement with his audience, particularly among youth who are fans of K-Pop culture. Through the semiotic stages of denotation, connotation, and myth, these popular cultural symbols are reframed to convey Islamic values in a light yet meaningful manner. This strategy proves to be effective in capturing audience attention and delivering religious messages in a more adaptive and relatable format. The study contributes to the development of digital da'wah methodologies rooted in popular culture and highlights the potential of parasocial relationships as a bridge for religious engagement in the digital age.} }
