%X Adolescence is a time when someone often has difficulty managing emotions and controlling their behaviour, which has an impact on the emergence of problems in relationships and academic achievemnt. This can occur due to low self-control in adolescents, which can be influenced by the lack of role and involvement of parents, especially fathers in every lifes. Fathers play an important role in providing emotional support, guidance, and involvement in adolesents’ lives, which are important factors in the development of adolesecent self-control to face various social and academic challenges. The purpose of this study was to determine, analyze, and describe the relationship between the role of the father and self-control of students at SMPN 2 Sewon. This research employed a quantitative correlation approach. The measuring instruments used in this study was the father’s role scale consisting of 42 aitems, while the self-control scale consisting of 37 aitem. The number of research samples was 88 grade VII students at SMPN 2 Sewon. The result of data analysis using the Pearson correlation test with IMB SPSS Statistics 25 program, showed that there was a significant relationship between the role of fathers and self-control of students at SMPN2 Sewon with a sig. value 0.000(p<0.05), with a correlation interval value of 0.557.
