%X Muhammadiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School Boarding School (PPM)  Pleret is one of the Muhammadiyah Madrasah that provides dormitory facilities for  its students. MBS Pleret uses the boarding school or boarding schools in their  learning system, so that they require their students to live in dormitories. This study  aims to find out and describe the curative guidance techniques carried out to  overcome homesickness to students in the Muhammadiyah women’s dormitory  Boarding School Pleret. Homesickness experienced by students is detrimental if  special treatment is not immediately carried out. One of the treatments for students  who experience homesickness is through the method of curative guidance. The  curative guidance method is an effort to provide assistance to individuals during or  after experiencing serious problems. The purpose of the assistance effort is so that  the individual concerned can be free from the difficulties faced.  This research is a type of case study research that uses a qualitative  descriptive approach, to obtain the data needed by the writer using data sources,  namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use  observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques with  data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn.  Based on the results of research that has been conducted at PPM MBS  Pleret Yogyakarta, it can be concluded that the curative guidance techniques to  overcome homesickness in new students are counseling techniques, advice  techniques, and learning techniques with guidance nuances.
