"Muhammadiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School Boarding School (PPM)\r\nPleret is one of the Muhammadiyah Madrasah that provides dormitory facilities for\r\nits students. MBS Pleret uses the boarding school or boarding schools in their\r\nlearning system, so that they require their students to live in dormitories. This study\r\naims to find out and describe the curative guidance techniques carried out to\r\novercome homesickness to students in the Muhammadiyah women’s dormitory\r\nBoarding School Pleret. Homesickness experienced by students is detrimental if\r\nspecial treatment is not immediately carried out. One of the treatments for students\r\nwho experience homesickness is through the method of curative guidance. The\r\ncurative guidance method is an effort to provide assistance to individuals during or\r\nafter experiencing serious problems. The purpose of the assistance effort is so that\r\nthe individual concerned can be free from the difficulties faced.\r\nThis research is a type of case study research that uses a qualitative\r\ndescriptive approach, to obtain the data needed by the writer using data sources,\r\nnamely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use\r\nobservation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques with\r\ndata reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn.\r\nBased on the results of research that has been conducted at PPM MBS\r\nPleret Yogyakarta, it can be concluded that the curative guidance techniques to\r\novercome homesickness in new students are counseling techniques, advice\r\ntechniques, and learning techniques with guidance nuances."^^ .
